Track Transactions/Properties per Contact.

In v1, we were able to assign a contact to a property. I was able to go to the contacts profile page and view all the properties that they were assigned to. I would like to go to my contact's profile to see all the transaction he is apart of instead of going through each transaction.

Example:  Mr. A owns 123 Main St and 456 NotMain St.

How do we keep track of what properties each owner has?

Before I could enter in each property and assign them an owner. This is especially useful when making sure my database is complete with all their current properties, homes, rentals, etc.

I have multiple owners that own more than one property and we have to figure out values, etc at different times for each property.

    Surprised more ppl don't vote for this feature since it was in v1.

    It'd be great to enter in all the properties in a farm to track and then you can see right away which ones you need to find the owners for or update to complete your database.

    Contacts -> Info

                         -> Properties

    Properties -> Property Address

                            -> Type/Info

                            -> Owner (linked to Contact) - can be blank if                                    not known

    Basically the issue, in an nutshell, here is an example of what the other 2 comments are saying above: is that Real Estate Buyers/Sellers/Owners/ Anyone conducts real estate activities will have multiple actions that transpire whether its buying a house or selling a house at the same time or listing one property and then asking me to do research on potential rehab costs on another property.... the properties are the unique identifiers creating duplicate records under the same name whilst the Contact should be the unique identifier and have a branch of options under the Contact Name so that properties aren't being used as a Duplicate indicator.

    Further example would be if my client, Seller1 sells their house to my other client, Buyer1, then I can move the Property from under the Contact of Seller1 to Buyer1 without putting it as a transaction - or let's say I have an Investor who wants me to list their house and then they are going to move into one of their investment properties for 6 months then have me list that property.  Hope that logic makes sense.

    Essentially having the Owner Name be the primary field is needed and when a Dedupe is done, the system recognizes that if Owner Name has 123 Main Street and 345 Main Street as two different contacts, it does not dedupe 345 Main Street into the 123 Main street record and view that as the primary contact, rather the system uses either a custom field to dedupe or the Property Address to dedupe to make his way easier. Should be an easy fix to do that?

    Agreed 100% with this comment. I am having same issue. If my client John Doe owns 1234 Main Street, 4567 NotMain Street, and 7891 Nice Street, V2 is showing this as 3 separate contacts. I recently did a follow up campaign and the program sent duplicate communications to the same person regarding all 3 properties. This made my client angry. Not good for my business.

    As the other person noted above, being able to have a tree, ie Profile>Owner Name >Property Address >Property Type (have drop down box or sub type )- Rental, Current Residence, Listed investment property, Vacant Land,  Custom Property Type option > and then show under the owner name each property along with the property type and any custom fields this would be a huge help and solve this issue as clearly many other people using the program are going to have / are having the same issue.

    I also have multiple owners that own more than one property and when trying to put values on an entire portfolio of properties versus having 3 different profiles contacts for 3 properties for the same person it would make way more sense.

    Additionally, in V2 if you try and dedupe records, it combined John Doe's properties into one record and I was only able to see his other two properties in the event timeline.
