emails, phone calls and texts messages are the life blood of what we do. LD only provide text and call traction but having the emails flow through the system and added to the timeline is a major need!! For example, is I send an email, I have to add a CC address so that when a reply is made it will show up in the timeline but it would be great if my emails were just apart of the system so where I send an email and the receiver replies, it shows up in the communication timeline for the contact and I don't have to CC an address. This would be a major win!

Do we have to upgrade to a different LD product to use this?
Hopefully along with this planned item would love to see the ability to have google contacts push/pull sync in LD without the use of an expensive 3rd party app.

If you are using Outlook don't waste your time trying to get Zapier to work for syncing emails or contacts. Having LionDesk be able to Sync sent and received emails would be great. Using LD cc is at least something but adding an email sync that worked without extra steps would be so nice.
Yes this is badly needed. Follow up boss does this nicely with their integration with Google. It would be great if you could do a similar integration.
I do not currently rely on Liondesk to send and receive emails. Am I understanding that you still cannot send an email from Liondesk and then see the response within Liondesk? I have my own domain and Google Suite to handle my emails and use a 3rd party for email campaign management. I am hoping to hear that Liondesk get this handled in V2 to there is no need for work arounds or having to use a 3rd party to get the open rates, bounce info, click on link info etc. Hate having to use a 3rd party for this. Should be something that is easily handled within Liondesk.
And even if a CC is added back to LionDesk, it still relies on the contact clicking "Reply to All" for it to find its way back in to LionDesk. Prospects FREQUENTLY don't reply to all, so the email thread in LionDesk is more often than not incomplete. It's one sided.
I have no idea of the technology behind making outbound and inbound emails integrate in to LionDesk, but it's so desperately needed. To be honest, this feature, perhaps more than any other, would be at the top of my list. As was pointed out in the original post, tracking communication is the life blood of what we do.
